Arrived in Birmingham!

Tonight we arrived in Birmingham, after 62 long and hard miles, and a few other challenges. When it comes to the physical aspect of this course, this was easily the hardest day in my life.

We are now in my uncle's house. It was really nice to see him and his wife Marisa. It's been 5 years since I came to visit them. We had dinner and talked about the trip and other things, and now we're ready to sleep and rest.

We have wifi, so tomorrow I'll update the blog with all the material that is pending.

Rain is delaying our progress

We still in Pell city... The rain should diminish in about 20 mins.

Time to recover the energies

Having lunch at Hardee's. We are in Pell city right now.
So far we covered almost 20 miles, 40 more to go. I guess we will arrive a little later than we thought, maybe around 7:30pm.
Hopefully the upcoming thunderstorm won't reach us before then!

And it's raining!

So today we woke up with rain.

The dopler radar shows a gap of rain that is about to reach us. As soon as the rain stops, we'll unassemble our stuff and go as fast as ee can: the main storm is on its way.

Our goal is to reach Birmingham before it does.
